I've been slack!!!

Hey everyone!!! It has been forever since I have updated my blog...Things have been extremely crazy around here. Ever since I turned 1, I have just been growing so fast and learning so many different things that I just haven't had the time to do anything else. I have learned to walk on my own, but I am not too consistent with it. Mom and dad have gotten a few videos so I will post them. I also have learned new parts of my body such as my ear, nose, eye, and tummy. Usually I pull up my shirt a little bit so you could see my tummy. Mommy and daddy thinks that sooo cute. I have new teeth coming such as 3 more front teeth and 2 top molar teeth. All 3 of us have been enjoying every moment of every day. I am going to go ahead and post some pictures and some videos. Birthday Party

I AM 1 YEAR!!!!

I had an awesome birthday party and I do appreciate all the people who showed up to help me celebrate it. I especially loved the birthday cake that mom made for me. Now I am just going to have to ask her to make me one every year. Beware mommy.

Life is hectic

Hola everyone! My apologies for not writing sooner. I have been extremely busy for the past couple of weeks. From mommy and daddy going on vacation to me learning new things. A couple of weeks ago, mommy and daddy decided that wanted to leave me to go on vacation. Of course I was mad. But grammy and pop were here taking good care of me. We did so much. Grammy and Pop, if I leave anything out, then please add to it. We went for a stroll on the waterfront downtown, went to the Maritime Museum and looked at all the neat things, and took a drive down the coast to Tillamook. I definitely enjoyed the ice cream factory. By the end of the week, we were all very exhausted. Grammy and I started getting colds and we sounded horrible. Grammy lost her voice and I had a stuffy and runny nose. It was hard to sleep at times. I hate always having colds. Mom and dad just recently bought an air cleaner for the living room and hopefully that will cut down the amount of colds I am having. I surely did mommy and dad when they left for Mexico. I was just wondering what they were doing the whole time. When they came home, I was so confused and looked upset because they had up and left me and so now, I have to get used to being around them again. After a few hours, we started playing and laughing like we were never apart from one another. Mommy and daddy did tell me what they did in Mexico. They went jetskiing twice, saw some whales, and mom went snorkeling for the first time. Also, they went on a sunset cruise where they met some friends. They also went to the beach and went ATVing. Mom turned her ATV on its side when she was going up a sand dune and luckily she didn't get hurt. Dad was freaking out because he didn't know what to think. I was really sad to see Grammy and pop leave to go back to Charlotte, NC. I really enjoyed our time together and we will be seeing them again in July when we fly to Myrtle Beach, SC to visit grandma and grandpa. I can't wait to go play in the sand. This past week, I have learned a couple of things. For one, I can pull up on things and actually stand there by myself and hold myself up. I feel like a big girl. And another thing is last night I learned how to mimic Ginger howling. I am proud of myself because she taught me how to do it. She is such a good teacher. I really love playing with her shaggy hair and her face. I don't even care if she likes it or not. Today, me and mom have just been chilling out together. We've been giving each other a hard time because I have been trying to fight sleep this morning. I hate to sleep. I just want to know what's going on all the time. Well, I am gonna go take a nap. My Weekend

Hey guys... I hope everyone is doing good... I just got finished reading with mom and dad... SO whats new with me I know you are all itching to find out... Well this weekend I went on another one of my dad and me bike rides that we like to take... We had a good time, I think I slept for at least half of it, but when I woke up we were in Seaside on the boardwalk... Then we went to go see mom for a bit... I wen to church on sunday with mom and dad... I like going to church, they go into the big people room and let me play in the nursery with my friends... We had some friends over for dinner last night, and I got to play all night long with my friend Kadence... She's cool because she can walk on her own... I keep trying, and I keep falling... I am getting around though, dad says Im his little lightning bolt... My new nickname is Bolt... Im getting real excited because I am going to be seeing my grammy and pop in only two more weeks... Well I guess Im going to sign off now. I need to eat dinner or else I get real cranky... After that I think I will crawl around more and give mom and dad a run for their money... bye bye everyone

Oh by the way get to feeling better DJ I know you are tired of being sick... You should hear what your husband says about you when you're not around...

My first big Boo Boo

You may notice some of the most pictures that my eye is kinda swollen. The second picture is the day that it happened and the first one is the day after. That's because 3 days ago (on Sunday), I fell off the bed. It was a hard hit since I landed right on my face. I had a goose-egg on the corner of my head and I could hardly open my eye. I cried and cried and cried, but I didn't have a concussion. I know mom and dad felt really bad but I guess it was bound to happen at some point. I forgive them though. As you know, I am still a happy baby that still loves to smile. Today, my eye looks the worse because it's getting bruised but I can open my eye a little bit more every day. I know that Valentine's day is coming up so if I don't get to write on that day, I want to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's day!!! I love you all and miss you too. ***SAVANNAH***

Anywhere & Everywhere

What's up you guys!!! I officially can crawl now. I started on January 31. I should have written when I did start but I have been too busy getting to know my surroundings. It's so much but I do notice that I do wear out myself a lot faster this way and I can't stand to sit still for more than a minute. I hope you guys enjoy the video.

Go Go Go

I have been quite active lately. I have tried over and over again to crawl and climb but I am scared to fall on my face. I know that it's bound to happen. Yesterday I did discover how to pull myself up into a sitting position and I almost crawled on my knees for mom and dad. It will come someday. I have been doing pretty good. I am a very happy baby and I love playing peek-a-boo with mom and dad. I still have a cold because of my teeth but I am getting a 3rd tooth. It's the top left one and I know the right one will soon follow. I just wanted to let you what I have been doing lately. Love you & miss you!!! *** SAVANNAH***

I am sorry you guys for not writing earlier. Life has been a little crazy lately. A couple of weeks ago, my grandma (Kathy) flew into town and she stayed with us for a little over a week. We spent so much quality time together. It was a blast. One night, mom and dad went to dinner and movie and me and grandma had the house to ourselves. On another night, we spent the whole night together while mom and dad spent some much needed time together. When they got home, I noticed that mom dyed her hair black and also a haircut. I just didn't know what to think when I saw her. Grandma got me this big swimming pool for christmas so a lot of the time, I was in there with all of my toys having a good old time. Grandma hopped in there with me a few times. Man oh man, that was so much fun. I hated to see her leave but she said that she was coming back in April for my first birthday. I hope Grandpa will come with her this time because I miss him so very much. It's been a long time since I have seen him in person. Here lately for the passed couple of days, I have had a bad cold. So that means that I must be teething again. Mom looked in my mouth to see if there was anything come through and she could see a little white on the top front. I am ready for all this runny nose, sneezing, and coughing to go away. I am growing up so fast. I already weigh around 24 pounds. It seems just like yesterday since I was born. Today, mom and I are just going to be hanging around the house. I will probably help her with folding the clothes and play with my toys. I hope everyone has a great day. I love you all. ***SAVANNAH***
