Man, I don't know what dad was thinking. It's 10:00 pm and we just got back from jogging around the block. I kept talking to him the whole time telling him how tired I was but he just kept going. We are getting ready for some 5k obstacle race in Seattle. We are looking forward to that though because we will be going with some friends and after the race, there will be a big luau. The last few days have been really good. My uncle Drew just joined the army. I am very proud of him. I am a little concerned right now because I just found out that there is chicken pox going around at the daycare. I just hope I don't get them but if I get them, it's better now than when I get a little older. I am also a little sad because my friends Silas and Selah are leaving. They are moving to Washington next month. But at the same time, I am excited because it's what God wants for them. I am tired and sleepy so I am going to bed. Love ya and night night. ***SAVANNAH***

Dear Savannah
You look so cute in your little skeleton costume!!!(The hat kind of makes you look like a little boy, though.) It doesn't matter because you are still the most precious little girl ever. Keep right on helping daddy to get ready for that 5k in any way you can. He loves that stuff, and I hope that you are athletic as well. I hope that you don't get the chicken pox, but I guess there isn't much to do about it except oatmeal baths and benedryl if you do. Your daddy broke my heart when he got the chicken pox at age 5. It scarred his handsome little face! If you look closely, you can still see some of those scars in his eyebrows and his hairline. He even had them in his ears, and some other places that you don't even want to think about.
I just sent you a little package, and you know that more is on the way....you are my screensaver at the office, so everyone sees that precious little face. Keep sending the pics!
Love you,
